If you are looking for an excellent camera, then Canon is the way to go. The quality is very good and the prices are not bad either. I myself have a Canon Rebel T6 and it is one nice camera. These cameras will work very well for the hobbyist or the professional photographer. You can buy them separate or in a camera bundle, which is usually a very good deal..
The next question is should I buy new or used ? Well I pondered that very same question when I was deciding on which way to go. I found that I got a really good deal on a refurbished Canon Camera with lenses. I read an article where the individual made a point that with refurbished from Canon you know they went over this better than the new camera and replaced any defective parts.
Now if you have the money and prefer a new Canon Digital Slr camera, go for it. I used to be an authorized Canon Service Technician and I saw very few Canon Cameras. This is actually a good thing, because that tells me there are few failures. My advise is if you go through Amazon, make sure to check out all the reviews. This way you will be a much better customer and will make an eductaed purchase.
I have loved photography for a very long time. It started in my youth with a cheap film camera with the old cube flash. I used it in high school back in the late 70s and the photographs were not that good. I started a job in my teens working for the local school district as a night custodian for the school I happened to live behind.
I saved up some money and bought a Petri 35mm Slr camera that I still have to this day. That camera made the difference from b and c grades to A and A+ grades. I developed and printed my own black and white film. Yes it was fun sitting in the small dark attic loading the film tank. I did not have one of the black hand film bags, but I got the job done. I bought my own enlarger and learned alot back then.
As time went on I graduated from High School and thought about what I wanted to do for a career. I joined a through the mail school called the School Of Modern Photography. I did this for awhile and had some pretty good grades. Yes they seemed to love some of my photographs. Well as a young person my thoughts changed and so did my direction for a career.
I ended up going to college for electrical engineering and worked as an electronic technician for about 11 years. I never did give up my love for photography. I just put it on the back burner. I have worked as a Computer Technician since 1996 as my career path took another turn. Now being older and having children my daughter and my son both love photography. My daughter more so than my son. I will tell you that some of her photographs are awesome.
I myself still love photography and recently bought a Canon Digital Slr Camera with some telephoto lenses. I have decided to write this blog to keep up on my love of photography. In fact I have created my own website at the following link. https://www.photographynew.com/ . Be sure to check it out and share it with friends. I am an amazon and ebay affiliate, so if anyone buys anything through my website I earn a small commission.
I will show some of my amazon affiliate ads below for those interested.
