I have been looking around for a nice camcorder that is not terribly expensive, but has good ratings and would be very good for a vlogger. My main shopping areas have been on Amazon.com and Ebay. I have found that the prices do vary and so do the reviews. Now is there a particular brand that is better than the others ? Well from what I have seen the Canon and Sony brands tend to be very good, but very expensive. I will try to keep my price range in the $100 range. Maybe someday I will advance to a more expensive and professional camcorder.
Yes you could shop locally at your local electronic stores like best buy and target, but it looks like Amazon and Ebay will provide a better selection and price range. I have also preferred a camcorder with a microphone like the one in the picture and also interchangeable lenses.
